Ron Holmes has spent his entire career trying to persuade others to see his way. The South Side Chicago native has been recognized for using his persuasion skills to help his clients navigate the political halls of power, the media, and the electoral process. Now, Ron’s working to stand up a cannabis industry in Illinois that is as successful as it is diverse. Ron currently serves as the chief lobbyist for the Cannabis Business Association of Illinois (CBAI) and a Co-Founder of the Majority-Minority Group. The Majority-Minority Group is a value-driven company that aims to create more minority-owned businesses. Its first stated mission is to put more color in the cannabis industry. Ron received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Morehouse College where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and minored in Economics. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
