Helen Mac Murray has been a national leader in the consumer protection arena for more than two decades. From Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurial start-ups, she advises cannabis and other highly-regulated businesses on federal, state, and local regulatory demands. She provides defense in litigation, as well as investigations and other enforcement matters before regulatory agencies including the FTC, FCC, CFPB, and state attorneys general. Helen previously served as Chief of the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section and brings deep experience in attorney general and multistate investigations and litigation. She has managed hundreds of consumer protection regulatory investigations and settlements, defended dozens of state and federal court enforcement actions, and settled hundreds of state, federal, and private action consumer protection matters. She is at the forefront of legal and regulatory issues facing both new and established businesses throughout the cannabis product supply chain. Representing some of the industry’s largest international cannabis entities, her clients include dispensary, cultivating, and processing businesses, as well as other vendors in the industry.
